There are certainly worse places one could be sitting in traffic than on Roxas Boulevard as the working week draws to a close, yet I was ever so pleased instead just to sit still in my friend's apartment with our glasses of full-bodied red wine watching the sky over Manila Bay this Friday.
Manila Bay, Philippines, 2010
We did not get to see the sun hit the horizon today, but the setting into the clouds was a delight to behold.

What fine Sky Watch images!
Re your comment about the haze in the San Francisco Bay Area - our days have been unusually hazy this month.
Beautiful!! How lucky you are.
What a fantastic view, these captures are wonderful!
I love these skylines and cloudy pictures!

Ooh, your friend has an enviable condo! ;)
Awesome! One of favorite view.
Enjoy the rainy weekend Francisca dear.
I like the line of coconut trees. coconut trees are the things I like to draw. Once I was with an art therapist, and she asked me to draw my favourite things. It wasn't my fav thins but something I always doodle. I doodled a coconut tree, a hut on the beach.
She said I was longing to have a holiday on the beach. Who doesn't? LOl
Your comment just came in, as I was about to comment yours. Yes, there has been only one occasion that I photographed a rainbow. I had to stop the car. This time, I did a few "from the comfort of my house."
What are we looking at? They appear to me mini war ships. Sounds nice sitting out there with the wine. Make mine too fruity to be cool. About the bench in the Rose Garden, I think it was the curator of the test garden.
@Sheryl - there is a cargo port very near here and most of those ships would be inter-island or international container ships of various sizes. They are too far for me to see either, but I doubt any of them are navy ships.
@Ann - that's one clever therapist. :-)
Looking at it makes me feel homesick, although I was there last week, but it's raining most of the time in the afternoon. Happy Weekend!
Am I envious? A little! Hah! What a great sight and a great place to be with a glass of wine and a good friend. Super shots.
The very famous sunset at Manila Bay! So lucky to be skywatching at the comfort of your home!
The colors are amazing!
The sky over Manila Bay looks fantastic!
Thanks for the view and for your comment in my blog :)
Great way to do some skywatching - with a friend and a glass of wine. Wonderful views here. Thanks for visiting mine!
