It wasn't so great to explore an open air antique market in the rain, but it soon stopped, and when it did, I found reflections in the puddles and containers.
This is one of several grand gates to the market:
Zhongshan, Guangdong, 2009
The Huacai Antique Market near Zhongshan is one I've visited several times over this past decade and it has, like most everything else in China, gotten both bigger and less authentic. Nonetheless, like any good flea market, there are delightful treasures of all sizes and at all prices to be found here, real and reproduced.
I like to rummage around places no one else goes. This is one of the many back alleys of this huge compound. I wish I could think of something to do with one of these old doors:
These stone pots would look fabulous in any garden.

Good morning Francisca,
Your reflections in this market are wonderful. The place is very nice, and your French is great too.
Best regards from Argentina

Being mostly an armchair traveler, I haven't seen such a flea market...but I would do what you did...follow the less-traveled road. We have many flea markets but most these days are commercial exploitations carrying mostly newly-made crap (if you'll pardon the expression)...
The first photo is quite impressive with those magnificent reflections. All in all, a very interesting post.
Great photos! You have captured some beautiful reflections in the market area. The firs shot is grand!
Terrific captures, Francisca, and marvelous reflections! Love the market scenes and particularly your first shot, it is grand indeed! Wishing you a lovely weekend! Enjoy!

The grand gate is gorgeous! Both it and the reflection :D
The reflections add so much to this already glorious photo!
It certainly does look like a fun place to go, and great reflections. Reminds me of a winter day at that big flea market outside of Paris in about 1974. Too cold for many visitors. It felt like there were tons of bargains if I'd only had a few bucks and a way to carry something. It was fun to look.
Love the almost perfect geometry of the reflection in your first shot.
Markets are usually an interesting way to spend some time. amazing what one can find om those... your photos are great, thanks for your comment!
Any one of these would be great but I feel spoiled by all of these wonderful reflections. You've been to so many interesting places.
Great collections of shots...very nice...Peace
Those doors wouldn't last 5 mins. here. They are so desirable and "trendy." I'd buy all of them.
Nice capture of the reflections in the puddles of rainwater in the first image. Appropriate for the meme!
Looks like treasure trove...I too would love one of those doors. Screen, bed head - must be lots of potential uses.
I like the last one : you are right : those stone pots would just look perfect in my garden... There is something very zen about the water inside the first one...
Thanks for the sharing !
Great captures and reflections!
Happy new week ahead Francisca.
Francisca, Love yr pics. Very nice reflections. I'd love one of those doors please. It would really make quite a statement in my urban apartment! And yes, one of those stone pots too!
