I'm posting this photo for no better reason than that I like it and it's red. That's for Mary's Ruby Tuesday.
No need to ooh and aah if it's not your thing. I'd much rather hear your authentic reaction. Indifferent? That's fine too. Truly. It won't break my heart the way this building broke when it was abondoned. Abandoned even.

Those are good enough reasons for me, Francisca! Besides I think old cracks are interesting to photograph.
The only judge of our photos should be ourselves in the end. We take them because we respond to a scene. If other people do too, that's a bonus. I like the colours here and the intrigue engendered .. what was it, why the big crack? But I especially like the word abondoned.
It needed a label so you could tell it was abandoned? How very hopeful of it. "I know I don't look too bad, so I'd better let them know I've been abandoned."
How very sad for it.

It must be a Scottish pronounciation!
love it especially with the spelling error - was it a school?
I thought I read it wrong so I had to look closely. :)
Great capture!
I like it - very interesting. Would make a nice drawing :D and I'd put blue sky for contrast... (sorry for having one track mine)
Yes, but I love the shot. It would be cool even without the misspelling. Love the colors, love the fact that it's falling apart, and the fact that it has a label . . . very cool in its own way.
You came to Christchurch?
My cousins live in Guang Ning. 4 hours was ten years ago in a rickety bus when my dad and sis went. I suspect they have build a road and dit is not so far away.
hmmm... interesting.. this is very dangerous already ... accidents can happen anytime...
Ruby Tuesday here
well -- you stole my line -- I was going to make a joke about the spelling. Actually (not to ooh and aah) I like pictures of abandoned structures.
I like the photo, the color and... the spelling. A very good choice!
I wonder if Abondoned is related to James Bondoned? Oh, wait, James was just a bond.
I do like busted up, cracked, red buildings and I think this is a very artistic photo. It raises more questions than it answers, though: Such as, what was it used for; what happened to it; where is the owner now; are there plans for restoration?
You needn't answer all these nor lose any sleep over them.
In fact, forget the whole thing; I'm going to go play golf! :-)
Wow that's an old building. looks like it is ready to fall. Watch out!

No way I would go near to that place, if it's abandoned, run! ^_^

Great shot. Good thing they labelled it.
I like it! It would be hard to keep the camera off it. Unusual to find one labeled.
I'm just curious how that happened! :-)
I like it too (-;
