[MyWorld] Ladies in Red

It was mid-afternoon, right after a leisurely lunch, when we came out of an upscale mall close to downtown Shenzhen and I saw these pretty young women dressed up... as what? flamenco dancers?... also leaving the building.

And that is truly my world in China, always full of surprises; often delightful, sometimes painful, and other times just plain mind boggling.

I post this for MyWorld Tuesday as well as for Ruby Tuesday. Join us there for the fun!

This would be one of the mind-boggling days, I take it. Gorgeous girls and gorgeous photos, Francisca.
Sorry I almost gave you a heart attack with my snow photos.
I happened to see the weather channel on someone else's TV today and they were showing snow in some parts of easter Canada and the US, so, when I got home, it seemed like a good time to use these pictures. I probably won't feel like posting them on a day when I've had to dig my car out.

I admire your global travels and your photography as well. Having lived in Japan in the early 1950s I also fell in love with Asia or at least what I have seen of it.

Fantastic and how beautiful they are! I lived in Spain for a year and a half and loved watching the flamenco dancers there! I would have been a surprised I think had I seen them in China! How fun! Love your travels and I'm so glad I have been able to travel as much as I have. It's wonderful to see other worlds! Great post for the day, as always! Hope you have a great week! I did answer your question on my blog regarding the aerial shot of Seattle!

I have been to Shenzhen, but did not even see the Flamenco dancers, sure is a surprise! I love their colorful costumes.

I enjoyed my 6 week class in Flamenco in one of the community colleges here a few years ago.

Wonderful colours! And how unexpected... I lived in China for three years and never experienced anything like this.

Definitely surprising, and I love the colors. I'm such a sucker for colorful, full costumes. I'd be happy if we lived in a world of costume instead of ordinary dress - but you know what? That is the trend, isn't it?
