[SkyWatch] Wispy Clouds

On our way to the tennis court this morning, I noticed these wonderful wispy clouds in the sky. This was a fast shot out of the open car window, so I'm pleased it turned out okay, and no, I was not the driver.

Manila, 2010

This may not look that spectacular to you, but to me, in Manila, this sky was unusual; not only for the dainty cloud formation, but for the blue of the sky.

After our nice hot sets of tennis, we went to the market, and while my honey bought what he wanted, I couldn't resist taking another sky shot I think is quite unique for here.

Today I am uploading my 100th post. It's been an incredible journey of a different kind for me so far.  The congenial and positive responses from "stranger angels" to my offerings have been inspiring and far beyond my expectations. Special heartfelt thanks go to the people who have chosen to follow my offline journeys here and to the many "regulars" who come to cheer me on and are already beginning to feel like blogger friends.  And a warm hug to friend Sheryl who encouraged me to take my first step into the blogosphere. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Today's photos join the fun at SkyWatch Friday.

Thanks, Francisca, I'm happy to see how much you're enjoying this new world. You've done a fantastic job, and the results can be seen for sure. By the way, I love the cloud pix today. I like seeing their patterns, too. I didn't know this was unusual for the Philippines.

I love your wonderful wispy clouds with their deep blue background.
You are a very talented photographer - and you play tennis, too, in addition to all that traveling. I am very impressed.
Thank you for being my "blog friend" and for leaving such sweet comments for me.

Your BC friend Kay, living in Alberta ;~)

Congratulations on your centenary. And yes, those skies are lovely. The clouds in the second one are similar to some we saw here a while back - they are quite an unusual formation I think.

This sky is gorgeous, too! Do you play tennis often? I don't play but am helping out at a tennis tournament here in Tokyo right now. Love watching people play! Maybe you'll post a photo of your tennis sometime :-)

100 is a good number. Congrats!

And this is an excellent post with which to celebrate...for blogging is an ethereal experience rooted in the reality of what we catch on camera...

That first photo looks a little bit like Casper the ghost taking wing and dissipating across the sky...
