Raining Inside

The windows of the ultra-modern Shenzhen Cultural Center have a bit of a leak problem.

Shenzhen, 2010

It made for a fun reflection shot for James' Weekend Reflections, didn't it?

Yes, it does indeed have a leak problem, but still makes a really fun reflection! Terrific capture as always, Francisca! Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!

Serendipitous for you, and a pain for the windows.

I've often wondered about so many of the new architectural structures. It seems like they are so conducive to leaks.

OOPS! And you were there to record the leak. :) Oh, and the reflection, of course!

At first I thought the buckets were part of a modern art display. They do at a nice artistic touch to this very nice shot. :)

At least they used pretty colorful buckets and the leak did make a great reflection for you. You have a great eye!

A wellknown problem for buildings with lots of glass. Great photo!

Surprenante, cette répétition de motif qui se reflète sur ce carrelage parfaitement lisse... Très bon coup d'œil, bravo !

Great beauty does not come easily! Reminds me our (Chrystal) museum addition that also leaks.

I've found that often fancy-pantsy windows leak a bit. Love the colorful collection pots. And the reflections are quite nice, too.

On to the horses!

That looks like the Durian in Singapore.

This building must share some DNA with Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings - which were/are notoriously leaky - particularly their roofs.
