The grand old Hotel Capitol is located on the main Bucharest avenue Calea Victoriei. I posted an image of the 1901 building in full here.
A walk down this road on a different day offered me a nice street shot for Weekend Reflections, Walk in the Street, and Weekend in Black and White.
Reflected, besides the street traffic, is another historic restaurant, now a 61-room hotel, called Casa Capşa, built in 1852.

Another great, dizzying reflection! I would never have imagined this view from the earlier picture.
Fantatics shot...;-D
Like stepping back in time.

The b&w and the bikes make it look like the 1920s! Lovely shot!
Francisca, the whole scene in the photo is almost an entire reflective scene. Nice shot!
I love your blogs! Short and sweet with great photography!
Super distortions, I love this especially in black and white!
Fantastic! Love the distortions and the B&W is perfect!! Always look forward to you posts -- for whatever meme! Your photos are always superb! Hope you have a great weekend, Francisca!

Great shots :) LG Tina
Ooooh! I love the distortions, and the b&w gives the image a lovely feel :)
Fantastic photo, Francisca. (I'm into alliteration today.)
Yes, the black and white image is perfect for this shot!

I like those wonky reflections in the windows. The building that houses the hotel has been around for a century and a half? NEAT!
An excellent shot. The reflections make me a bit dizzy!
Marvelous street shot. The reflections add richness.
The reflections are made-up of delightful curves.
Wow, talking about historic!Looks like you're digging deeper into the culture:)
Terrific photo Francisca!
Have a nice weekend:)
Wonderful reflections! I'm still looking forward to when I think I'll have more time for blogging and reading. I'm enjoying your pix on the occasions I get over here!
I love the reflections! Great shot in black and white, too :D
Those reflections are excellent. Incredible view.
Thanks for your visit and kind words. I took the photos 40 years ago with B&W film. I don't own a digital camera. I have four film SLR bodies and a good collection of lenses. I rarely shoot in color now. 99% of my work is done with B&W film that I develop myself.
This is a great photo :) Very interesting.
Superbe b&w, er reflet dans la fenetre
Merci d'avoir participer au challenge "Walk In The Street Photography"
The b/w is perfect here ;-)
...the ice creams are OK, but not firstclasses. Few years ago "Hjem-Is" was big business, but then all supermarkets began selling ice creams too!
Have a great Sunday!!
Distorced 'patchwork' reflections like this are so cool!
Great reflection of with a fantastic scene.

Very interesting going back to see the earlier post and comparing it. Both lovely views and so different. This beautiful one really works perfectly with all those memes.
