C is for Clock

These are three of the ten public clocks commissioned by the city council of Bucharest at a cost of nearly Euro 100K each as part of their plan to revitalize the city center.

C is the letter of the week at Jennie's Alphabe-Thursday.

They're beautiful, Francisca. The price seems a little high, but I know nothing about public clocks. A very lovely choice for the letter C.

I like the look of these clocks as they seem to fit in with the architecture of the city.

Lovely timepieces! I especially like your first photo with the branches in the background.

Very nice photos and I guess 100 K Euros is a lot! I'm wondering how much it would be in American dollars. Those sure are fancy, but beautiful clocks.

I especially love the first one, but 100,000 euros each? Eek.

Hello, Francisca! Hope you are well.

Does their cost mean they are well made and will last for a long time.

I am really a freak when it comes to clocks. I simply must have the EXACT time for every clock in my house! Thanks for a most interesting post!

Even more than the clocks, I like the windows and reflections in the last photo.

Very classy clocks! I like how you captured them in your photos, Francisca! I never have a watch so having these clocks to show the time is wonderful :D

Wow. Those are gorgeous. They add such drama to the streets.

And the photographs you shared are really splendid.

Thanks for a dramatic and interesting link to Alphabe-Thursday.

I always enjoy visiting you!

It's an interesting way of revitalising a city and they all have Roman numerals. I suppose that's a classier look, really:-)

Absolutely lovely! Wonder if people appreciate them as much as we do via your gorgeous shots?

They are beautiful clocks but I do think Bucharest have many other areas that could do with €300k. Not sure that was a wise decision on their part

Wonderful clock shots. I like them all.

I like the clocks...but 100K Euros per tick-tock sounds a bit excessive...perhaps they are quality clocks and quality does not come cheap?

Now, it's time for me to go...
