This billboard on a stark run-down Soviet-era building made me laugh. It struck me as an advertisement for a news program (JurnalTV). How refreshingly honest, I thought! Our Moldovan partner informed me it was the name of a TV series. Well okay, but still it pretty well conveys in a nutshell what I think of mass media these days.
And so this awful drive-by shot gets posted for Lesley's Signs, Signs, where you can check out what noteworthy signs others have found.

Maybe symbolic of nearly everything on TV these days! Nice capture!
That's an American series. I tried to watch it, but it didn't get my interest.
I never would have guessed that you are as cynical as I am! :)
Yes, that's an American series, and the actor in that ad is Tim Roth. Watched it a few times but not really keen about it.
Inside Cambodia
If you look at state the building it's really ironic !
Amazing sign to find on the side of what looks like a totally abandoned building! Interesting shot!
I'm so glad I don't have tv.
Ain't it the truth!
It's no wonder why people in world are beginning to revolt. We are all thinking what you are thinking Francisca.
serie qui passe en France, mais sans trop de succés. mais cela donne une belle affiche
Publicity ;o) Every Friday (and the Weekend), The Challenge "Walk In The Street Photography"
Some would say it's all lies - no need to advertise!
i enjoy watching Lie To Me when i'm in the mood to pay attention to a TV show.:p
It conveys in a nutshell what the media does, what the politicos do, what the corporatists do, what the military leaders do...
Everyone's means justify their ends.
It's getting worse. I'm not real positive about the future.
Great sign - can't stand the show though. :=}
More and more computer time, less and less TV here. Don't know one single thing about that series. Don't care.
"Lie to Me" is now on the portuguese tv as well, but we don't need the series to make it come true, you just have to watch and listen to the politicians...
To think they put up both posters, not noticing the irony?
