[SkyWatch] Quezon Skies

On every road trip - as in life in general - you win some, you lose some. And so it was with the skies last weekend for the two days we were at the beaches in the province of Quezon in search of Mother Nature's fish bowl.

Over the first 24 hours the sky was more often gray than not, making the drive through charming countryside rather comfortable, but the snorkeling less than ideal. And yet the water was warm, as was the company, and the skies did present us with moments of glory.

These skies join the fun at SkyWatch Friday.

I enjoy these images you showed today, mainly because this makes me ache for home. Secondly, I just adore drive by shooting, which I am guessing you applied on these images.

yes it could be nicer at the beach these days, as it is not very hot and the water is warm. That small island is so lovely. Which part of Quezon is this, i haven't seen it. thanks.

Clouds in the skies create the most beautiful scenes! I love the golden tones of the top photos!

That's almost too many skies to take in! Love the one before last, so evocative.

we also had cloudy skies during the trip to Padre Burgos. in fact, there was a tropical depression when we were at Silangang Nayon.:p but yes, the waters were warm and the sea was calm. marvelous photos.

Oh Francisca! You're making me so jealous! I'm longing for warm weather already...

What I like is the water...and the fact it was warm. It's been unseasonably and unreasonably cold here (for Florida)and we're ready for some warmth!

And it is such a beautiful place. I can imagine you see some gorgeous sights snorkeling in those waters.

I do like the skies and the road shots, too, though. That whole area is quite beautiful!

Just being somewhere warm sounds good. It has been so cold here, I hate to take my camera outside and deal with the condensation when I come back in. The laundry day photos really caught my eye...such color!

if the snorkelling was disappointing, the sky certainly made up for it.

Warm company is the best! But dramatic skies and warm weather are great on any roadtrip too.
