I'm not a trained nature photographer, so I must admit I was rather pleased with my capture of this eagle in Beautiful BC.

Beautiful picture. Well done!
It is wonderful to see these grand feathered friends numbers are on the increase.

Great capture, the eagles are an awesome sight to see.
You captured it beautifully!

How wonderful to see an eagle in the wild. I love BC and used to get there faily often - at least twice a year. Retirement - and its subsequent poverty have curtailed all my travels, though, sad to say. Great photograph.
You can be proud of that photo!
You did well. I likely would have been too excited to get a clear shot!
You SHOULD be pleased! I think the photo is great. :)
Indeed a good capture, Francisca!
We do have a lot of these majestic birds in BC and the Pacific Northwest. I love to see them soar on thermals checking out the tasty morsels below. - Margy
Be proud! It's gorgeous. And the tree background works very well!
That is a very nice shot! He blends well.
He posed beautifully for you :-)
You did a nice job - details and everything. It's a nice looking eagle, too. We have them here, but the only photo I have that shows the eagle well is from the zoo!
There are supposed to be several bald eagles in my area but they must be hiding. This is wonderful!
I would love to have seen this AND taken a photo as good as this. Sometimes I wish I had a better lens for birding. I got a rather good shot of an owl the other day...flew by my car and I just happened to have my camera with me! It's thrilling, isn't it?
Indeed, a priceless shot!
Btw, I found the name of the yellow flower when you google "yellow flower" images! Unfortunately, I forgot where I saved it ;-( It is a weed and it is on google!
It's a wonderful animal!
Regarding your questions:
1- Even having the word verification enabled on comments I still got spam, mainly chinese porn (so I was told). With moderation I can reject it and it will never show to the readers.
2- Black cats are also associated to bad luck here.
3- Kapoor's reflections: I have already posted one of his works, similar to the last, but IN the water at the Kensigton Gardens. However, Joanne posted the same sculpture at her 'Inspiration' blog (we took shots together) which you might have visited.
4- I forgot what the question was, LOL, sorry, Francisca...
