Fairy Ballerina

When I was just a little girl... I loved being a ballerina. Today I still enjoy going to the ballet. It's about the grace, the elegance, the powerful fluid movement.

Seeing these fairy ballerinas at an upscale mall in Makati recently made me smile. Must be the little girl in me.

The lit figures were nicely reflected in the windows, and when the images are enlarged you may find some other fun reflections, so I am linking with James' Weekend Reflections.

To everyone visiting today: Merry Christmas Eve!

I really like these wonderful ballerinas - I also dreamed of being one. It never happened, but I still love looking at those whose dreams came true.

These are beautiful!

Like you, my daughter was a ballerina when little. The first time we saw a real ballet in Tel Aviv, the dancers were so fluid and graceful that Naomi whispered, "Are they real?! Do they have bones??"

Some of us remain "kids" forever. Thank goodness. And I have heard it said, "Once a ballerina, always a ballerina."

Your photos definitely contain a measure of youthful delight!

And may you enjoy the bestest Christmas ever!

Great looking figures and reflections! It's been far too long since the last time I saw a ballet.

These are lovely and elegant. I haven't been to a ballet in years, and now I can't quite afford it.
Have a Merry Christmas Francisca

Mum and dad had too many children, and I never had desire to do ballet. I have two left feet.

Merry Christmas.

My youngest daughter danced with a ballet company in California for several years until she developed stress fractures in her feet. She's now a Pilates instructor with a studio in Healdsburg, CA. Ballet has always been a love of mine as well! Marvelous post for the day, Francisca! Wishing you a very Merry, Joyful Christmas!
