Stroll in the Park Reflected

Kaiping, 2011

On the edge of the park along the Tanjiang River running through the town of Kaiping is this restaurant built to appear like a ship. Its colored glass revealed interesting patterns and shapes. Linked with the communities at Weekend Reflections and Weekend in Black and White.

Exciting reflections. Fascinating to see reality divided into fragments.

I think the world is your home, Francisca!

But I'd guess you're probably happy to be back in Manila...and enjoying the parks and restaurants. Very cool photo!

Hope that things worked out well for you during your sojourn in Europe!

We're home; I've been taking a blogging break which continues - more or less. We will be heading our for a few days next week - to the mountains of Tennessee!

Perfect in black and white! I can see the ship-like shape. Very cool. And the father & child in the reflection is a sweet scene to see :-D

Interesting reflection: at first glance, it seems to be a single image, but on a closer look, each pane reveals something slightly different from the others.

Great imagination by both you and the person who designed the building. Very nice!

I always look forward to your reflections and this one doesn't disappoint! Black and white was an excellent choice too.

p.s.
I liked your comment the other day about the cat named Wussie because I was thinking the same thing. :)

I love the architectural design and the objects reflected. I am glad I found this link, because Kaiping is my father's hometown.

Nice to be back in blogging after a 2 month-hiatus.
