Downstream from Kaiping on the banks of the Tanjiang River is the historical town of Chikan. The charming streets of the old town, parts of which go back 350 years, have long been used as backdrop in Chinese movies. There is even a movie studio where hundreds of blockbusters have been produced.

What a fabulous reflection, Francisca! The curve of the bridge would be lovely on its own but as a reflection too it's stunning!

What a fabulous shot. Love it.
What a fabulous setting for movies. This is a wonderful shot. It reminds me of some of the street in downtown London with the curing pavement encircling the flats. Lovely shot. Genie

Francisca, nice photo that covers three mimes.
beautiful scene. is that a movie poster by the water's edge on the left?
@Lesley... yes, that is a movie poster. The entrance to the old film studio is just to the left of that poster.
