Shadows at a Resort

For Shadow Shot Sunday here are three shadow images I captured at a very special resort in Ilocos Norte I've posted about here and here.

I like the mix of materials, textures and colors. A metal chair on terracotta Vigan tiles, name after the Ilocos Sur town that makes them. Details on the chapel. Gecko in a paper lamp.

I love the shadows you've captured! The delicate lines of the chair and the cute gecko shadow are my favorites...although the soft light in the second photo is hard to pass up, too. Okay okay...they are ALL my favorites! ;D

I really like 'em all...but that first one is best for me...the rustic brick paving stone and the white contrasting ironwork...and the shadow; perfect.

These are all remarkable shadows, Francisca! And what beautiful settings for them, too.

They are all lovely, but i love the gecko. In Prambanan, Indonesia, we found drawings and paintings of gecko or other lizards on every space inside their houses or restaurant. In Vigan and other houses here, we don't need to paint or draw them, they are real.

these are all fantastic! my favorite is the Gecko. I love those little guys. When I visited my in-laws in Hawaii a few years back they were all over, and John and Maryellen thought of them as unwelcome guests in their home. I think they're fun. that's a wonderful, whimsical shadow shot. happy day to you Francisca.

Great composition and juxtaposition of linear arrangement of the tiles against the delicate lacy shadows in the first., the gentleness of the second and the wow factor of the smiling teeth of the third.

A nice collection of shots.

Lovely shadows, all making me wish the sun would come out here soon. :)

My fave is #1 because of how the chair shows only partially, but the shadow shows it all! Only the shadow knows! (If you remember than show)...
