Happy Holidays from Austria

To think that ten days ago I was snorkeling in tropical waters. It's a bit of a shock to the system to land in winter wonderland. But here I am, in Austria, enjoying the beauty of white landscape.

My honey and I took a two-day drive through the Styrian Alps this December 24 and 25. A magical white Christmas.

Austria, 2012
I wish you all the very best of the holiday season!

A big heartfelt thank you to my blogging friends
for the joys of sharing over the past year!

Wow, after that powerful Kalinga series, I think you and all need some white soothing snow.

Happy Christmas season to you.

Francisca! There you are! How wonderful.
Your alpine photos are spectacular. We were in Austria last month, but on a river cruise, and the weather, while cloudy and foggy, was chilly rather than cold. I fell in love with a tiny town called Durnstein, in Austria, and could live there happily ever after.
Wishing you all that is wonderful for the rest of the holiday season, and into the coming year.
Luv, K

I wish you a marvelous New Year!

Thanks for reminding beautiful Austria! And yes, Kay, you are right: Durnstein is awesome, like a little village from a story book. I love it too.

What a wonderful place!

I was just saying that I'd love to spend Christmas in Austria someday. We did have a rare white Christmas though.

Stunning winter scenery. Can only imagine seeing all that snow at once. Quite a change for you two -- you must have needed to buy or borrow a whole new wardrobe ;>). Curious to see new posts as I'm wondering what next for you? Happy New Year!!!
