Monday Mural II - Peles Castle V

It's Monday and again I join a small group of bloggers posting interesting murals found around the world. Check them out... one in Ontario, one in Flint, MI, and the other where the mural blog-hop started, in Oakland, CA. Why not join and show us yours?

Today my mural is in Romania. This is the delightful fresco in a small courtyard near the public entrance to the fairytale Peles Castle in Sinaia. The link takes you to my earlier posts on this outstanding castle built between 1873 and 1914 (and a couple of other castles).

    This mural is a piece of art. I'm glad you are keeping up with Monday mural. As far as my Flight Training mural goes... it is painted on the brick. The artist did such a good job that the painted frame looks real.

    These a beautiful. Do you think they are painted directly onto the wall or are frescoes? Either way, stunning. Impressive how long these can last if cared for.

    This is simply stunning. The art work is magnificent ... the artist got the perspective so well it looks almost 3-dimensional in places! Love it!

    Breathtaking 3D paintings...!! But how come you have one pic with and one without the lantern? I can't imagine how you must have taken the one without?
