Dong Bridge

Guizhou, 2006

This is a Wind and Water Bridge built by the Dong ethnic minority people in Guizhou province of China. I find it interesting that the first one I posted (here) ranks as one of the top ten viewed pages on my blog.

    Great looking bridge - sorry to hijack your comment box but I tried last night and this morning to put my bridge post on the linky at San Francisco Bay DP but I can't click on any links on the site - you and a few others seem to have managed it - I've tried using Firefox and Chrome but none of the links work so I can't even leave him a comment - I've no problems with any other site - perhaps if you can comment there you can let Louis know there are problems - I suspect I'm not the only one having problems - cheers.

    I'm always astounded by the beauty of architecture built years ago. I love how this looks against the green mountains. Is it just for pedestrian crossing or do cars cross it, too?
