F is for Farmhouse

This florid fallen-in farmhouse near Sibiel was my favorite homestead in Transylvania. I found it on our foray through the fabulous old villages I posted a few months ago.

Sibiel, Romania, 2011

Check out the other fantastic F posts linked to ABC Wednesday.

  12. How interesting! It looks like the house and barn are attached. I wonder when it was abandoned as a home. Hmmm.

  14. Ditto Roger...thought the second was a painting and was going to ask if you'd done it. This house looks like it has such character and makes one wonder about its past history and who lived there and what life was like. Fantastic post, Francisca, and have a fabulous week,

  16. Just the kind of place I like to photograph. Although in a state of decay its character still shines through.
