[SkyWatch] Romania Skies

We drove by car between Bucharest and Vienna through some pleasing countryside in the north of Romania. Sometimes the action in the sky added to the drama of the scene. These were all drive-by shoots on one day.

Romania, 2011

These skies are for SkyWatch Friday and there's a bridge too for Sunday Bridges. Check out those memes for links to many awesome skies and eclectic bridges around the globe.

  14. Wonderful skies. I'm just off on holiday and it's raining here (after 6 dry weeks). Consoling myself that skies with clouds are better! I'm beginning to wish you would post your photos bigger - they are so stunning.

  15. @jennyfreckles... thanks for the appreciation and encouragement. My photos can always be enlarged by clicking on them. I don't know how to change the blog design to show the images larger without spoiling all past posts.

  17. Do you open your window when you take drive-by shots? The clouds are so dramatic, I love it! The last photo with the silhouette of the hills is my favorite :D

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend in Romania!

  25. Well, I'm certainly glad you got to hit the road, which I know is one of your favorite things to do...and your "drive-by" shots are excellent! Lots of fun. I especially like that first one...reminds me a lot of driving in Colorado...
