Tropical Foliage

The deep mottled hues and varied shapes of the tropical croton plant appeal to me. Its colorful glossy leaves brighten up any garden.

  3. "Croton" - the planet where the interstellar guardian lives amongst plants with beautiful leaves. It is a plant planet, and he's the plant planet-carrium.
I think I'd better stop commenting on blogs tonight and go to bed before my head falls off, okay? (And no, I don't drink. I'm just very, very tired.)

  12. Crotons are really beautiful...so tropical feeling. When we visited Chicago last summer we saw that they had planted huge patches of crotons along the city streets...what a beautiful splash of color!

  13. I always marvel at plants like these growing wild -- in the Pacific Northwest we see them as pampered house plants only.

    Beautiful colors.
