On my way to our bank I spotted this exit ramp from an underground parking garage with bright primary color stripes... and I thought of James and his Weekend Reflections.
Manila, 2010
I couldn't pick just one to post. Which image do you think tells the story better?
The first has more mystery. The second tells more, but is less "more" in this case?
ReplyDeleteKay, Alberta
I agree with Kay, the first one is the mystery one and sometimes mystery is better than the obvious!!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend, Francisca!
Sylvia
Wow, I'd be so dazzled by those I'd probably crash my car just looking at them! Agree with the first two, the first picture has more punch.
ReplyDeleteI too agree. The second one is a nice explanatory footnote! Incredible colours!
ReplyDeleteVery colorful, Francesca! Good it's in the parking garage and not under a bridge or something like that! I know (from own experience) when taking pics we want the pic!
ReplyDeleteSo, you've never heard of flipping a coin? ;-)
ReplyDeleteNah...they're both good but the first one is my favorite as it compresses the essentials in a red-tinged vitality!
I prefer the second, but they are both good.
ReplyDeleteYou did it so well, I love the way you show the images!I liked a lot this creative idea!
ReplyDeletehugs and happy weekend

I think I prefer the first one.
ReplyDeleteI am sure I would quite distracted by all those lines and vibrant colours!
I prefer the first one, but both are cool! Really interesting post Francisca.
ReplyDeleteHugs:)
great shots Francisca - love the colors!!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend.
I think you need both photos to complete the story, Francisca! The bright colors are amazing! Is this the entrance to the circus parking lot? ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe first one for me. Love those colours. Happy weekend Francisca.
ReplyDeleteI like the first one. Unfortunately, for me, I am a "KOPI OH" driver. I am not in a habit of looking into mirrors.
ReplyDeleteThanks for feeling for me. The news affected me more than I thought it would. Now I am waiting if they are going to flood the dam.
From the first photo I'd never guess where all those colors came from!

I like the composition of the second photo. To show the mirror image and what it is reflecting tells the
ReplyDeletestory and the creative process.
Great colors on this shot !
ReplyDeleteStunning !
To answer your question, no, I didn't pay the 90 shekels to hear the concert. But my nun friends got free tickets and they told me how good it was.
ReplyDeleteGreat colours and original point of vue
ReplyDeleteSome wonderful colors here. Ya never know when you get a chance to catch one of these shots.
ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of pictures (and reflections) I like more. Almost casual shots you 'see', ready to be caught!
ReplyDeleteThey're both excellent and beautifully composed. Amazing how such ordinary things can make such terrifically creative photos. Well done!
ReplyDeleteMy entry is here
That is so neat! I like the second photo so much better. What great colors.
