Last week my honey and I joined a group of good friends for a few days of fun and laughter at a resort on the tip of Negros Oriental, about an hour's drive from the university town of Dumaguete.
Join me here for a little stroll along the beautiful sea. The boardwalk is concrete and has seen better days, but the camera did not mind that.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place, Francisca. I can see the effect of the saltwater on the concrete seawall, which must have taken a great deal of time and labor to build.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to have affected the rock as well. It looks like lava rock.
Still, the photos of the waves are spectacular.

Just as I was asking myself 'where is home to this interesting woman?' I noticed the link at the top of your blog and now I know!
The beautiful views were certainly ehanced by the shabby and crumbly textures in the stone bridge and walkway. It looks very ancient and romantic there.

ReplyDeleteOh i was not able to see this before i commented to the last post. Your photos are real good, which might entice others to go there too. I can understand what you told me in private, being familiar with how things are! However, i have not been to this area. I've been to Twin Lakes high above the mountains maybe 2hrs from the city. I love it better when not many man-made structures cramp the area. Twin Lakes are maybe dormant volcano craters, as there are lots of big rocks on the way there, evidences of previous eruptions.
