Fashionable Reflections

Bucharest, 2011

When glancing into this shop window at the offering of spring fashions, I noticed not only the reflection of the Novotel Hotel across the street, but also the sky, a streetlamp, the tower of the next building, and more, clearly reflected in the hotel's glass facade.

Many more fun reflections are linked to Weekend Reflections.

  1. Terrific reflections for the day, Francisca! Love the models -- nothing like bald headed ones!! Hope you've had a great week and an even better weekend to come!

  2. The reflections add so much to the whole image...I wonder if the designer of the window ever saw it with the reflections like this? Super cool!

  5. Francisca...It is amazing how many different images you were able to capture in this reflection. What a great shot! Love the mannequins in the classy outfits. The red really bounces right out at the viewer. A fine post.

  9. You have some very colorful fashions there in Bucharest...and this is a fine reflection shot.

Re Bonita Springs...we've visited there on occasion for over 25 years...it has changed immensely during that time.

But I was sure I saw your name on the mailbox in front of this house!

  12. I like the reflections way more than the fashions! Very fun though and I love that you spotted this for the meme. I need to open my eyes more to reflections other than in nature. (If we don't go for a walk in the swamp, I don't have anything for James' meme.)

  15. I always wonder why they don't put the wigs on. May be they have beautiful round head, not Asian head like mine.

  17. About the scene as a whole -the bright clothes of the model fit with the city reflections! Wow, you have been for a long time there -how much longer?

  18. Great reflections and I love the bright colours of the clothes. The models look all set to go out and enjoy what they can see from their window! (except for pulling on a wig).
