Café de l'Europe Reflections

It's time for Weekend Reflections... and here is what I found in Vienna for James and our community of reflection hunters. 

Sitting on a terrace on a warm day to sip espresso and watch the world go by is as normal to the Viennese as it is to Parisians. Café de l'Europe on Graben, the most famous street in Vienna's city center, is enclosed in glass... giving me a wonderful reflection of the sun shining on the buildings behind, including  a spiral and the north tower of Vienna's landmark, Stephansdom (St Stephen's Cathedral), on the right.


And a slightly longer view so you can see a bit more of the setting.

    So nice. I like the longer view best.

    Thanks for the explanation re art nouveau architecture. Thinking outside the box can be invigorating and lead to all kinds of creativity.

    But I remember one philosopher saying something to the effect that while that is true, sometimes we need to stay inside the box and figure out what to do with what we find there.

    It gets a little too complicated for me! :-)

    so it is warm enough for afresco dining.

    If it wasn't fr reflection, your probably would not p[otograph the couple.

    @Ann... they were a very handsome couple I hadn't even noticed until after my second shot they looked and me and I had to smile and say the photo was about the reflection! :-D

    What a heavenly spot and one full of wonderful reflections. You must have had a grand time there with your camera in hand. These captures are so impressive and so appealing to the eye of the viewer.

    Looks and sounds like a wonderful time! Vienna is a place I want to visit. Salzburg is as close as I've been.
