I'm a few hours late to greet you for Valentine's Day, but love works for me 24/7 365 days a year. You too?

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and a richness to life that nothing else can bring. - Oscar Wilde
As sweet and musical
As bright Apollo's lute, strung with his hair;
And when Love speaks, the voice of all the gods
Makes heaven drowsy with the harmony. - W. Shakespeare
There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.- Friedrich Nietzsche
Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart. - Marcus Aurelius

Oh my, this song takes me back -- way back!!
ReplyDeleteI sometimes schedule my posts for a certain time then come back to link with the meme and visit others. You can also join in at any time for the signs, signs meme - it is open for several days (since I can't figure out how to put a time limit on it!) I hope you can contribute as I bet you have some very interesting signs in many different scripts and languages.
Sweet photo but they look very high up . . .
ReplyDeleteAnd 365 (or 366!) is what it should be. I felt sorry in a way for several male colleagues today whom I saw running around like headless chickens at lunchtime. They all came back with more or less the same chocolate box... Isn't that sad?
ReplyDeleteI loved that song and still do! And your photo is amazing for today (sorry, your yesterday!)
True love is the best thing that could happen to anyone. Happy V Day.
ReplyDeleteOh, you are SO right...year round love and caring...wouldn't that be grand world-wide?! Happy V Day to you!
ReplyDeleteA lovely photo. And I definitely think a celebration of love should not be limited to one day a year!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day...er... Year. :))
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteLovely image! This is probably the first time I take seriously something written by Friedrich Nietzsche...

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely capture of a most special sight. Nepal is one of the spots in the world I dream of visiting. I love the people there. I follow many of the Mr. Everest climbers’ blogs so feel like I know them. Thanks for the wonderful shot and quotes.
ReplyDeleteGreat post and perfect for Valentines Day late or not!
ReplyDeleteIts a beautiful picture...
ReplyDeleteYep, me too 365/24/7 -- I'm not crazy about artificial holidays! Your picture and words are terrific for, as you say, any time.
ReplyDeleteFrancisca - Thanks so much for your encouraging comments on my blog. I will certainly check out that 'Print Your blog' site. I didn't know you could do it that easily - tempting! I know what you mean about keeping up with all the posts. I follow quite a few blogs and sometimes it's a struggle to keep up, so I don't always comment either. I love seeing the world through your eyes. You introduce me to so many new places and aspects of life. I'm glad to have linked with you.
