I find the decorations fun and I'm all for happy kids. I guess I just don't want the commercialism of the holiday to overpower All Saints & All Souls Days. And on a personal level, I also don't want to have to decorate for two holidays during the busiest time of our work year. ;)Hildahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03572824685124656116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2685880837517606009.post-69829956283857214502010-11-03T06:50:43.189+08:002010-11-03T06:50:43.189+08:00I didn't see anything downunder that says hall...I didn't see anything downunder that says halloween. I think halloween here is more for young adults rather than kids. I saw a lot of people wearing costumes getting ready to go out clubbing the other night :-)Kaorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06495830655043821533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2685880837517606009.post-19423067850531990082010-11-01T03:44:57.875+08:002010-11-01T03:44:57.875+08:00Astoria pretty much celebrated it (for the kids an...Astoria pretty much celebrated it (for the kids anyway) last night, but I wasn't feeling well and it was pouring rain. I'd looked forward to taking pix of the kids trick-or-treating on Commercial Street, so I'm looking forward to it next year. It's a nicer day today and I'm feeling better. Maybe there will be witches and goblins out tonight, too.tapirgalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10098235462073493603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2685880837517606009.post-75096157376643336382010-11-01T01:06:14.232+08:002010-11-01T01:06:14.232+08:00Very nice picture of you and your blog as a whole ...Very nice picture of you and your blog as a whole is nice to read and watch. (I have been trying to catch up on my comments after being offline for a week.) Halloween is not a Swedish holiday even if merchants within the toy trade try to get children interested in dressing up in H-costumes.
I miss candy corn from my childhood, but candy is not good for my teeth so it's just as well I avoid it.
Thanks again and I hope you will have a pleasant week.
Best wishes,
Anna
For the benefit of other readers:
Anna's Alphabe-Thursday-F: REVISED!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17926688000745346961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2685880837517606009.post-15494217778195142592010-10-31T20:47:45.989+08:002010-10-31T20:47:45.989+08:00I'll visit bloggers and see lots of halloween ...I'll visit bloggers and see lots of halloween photos ;-)
In Denmark it's mostly decorations, and few costumes for the kids, but halloween is still "new" here!
Great pictures from your photo lens :-DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2685880837517606009.post-30441165062062799512010-10-31T07:17:42.138+08:002010-10-31T07:17:42.138+08:00Yes, that last picture is lovely, Francisca.
